Huawei and Discovery have entered into an agreement to develop a mobile phone for travelers, according to a September 27, 2011 report by Reuters. Dubbed Huawei-Discovery Expedition, the co-branded mobile phone is scheduled to become commercially available in the fourth quarter of 2011. The Expedition is expected to be water-resistant, dust and shock proof and equipped with GPS (Global Positioning System), digital compass, G-sensor, and a torch. It is reported that the Expedition will be sold worldwide through telecom operators and distributors.
